Maths ECT – The Role

This secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and motivated Maths ECT to join their Maths department from September 2026 on a permanent basis. In this role, you will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ numerical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills while supporting their preparation for GCSE examinations. Maths teachers are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment that encourages students to engage confidently with the subject. You will work alongside a supportive and experienced Maths department that collaborates closely to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher, with structured support and mentoring provided as part of the school’s ECT programme.
