Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Officer to join our busy Facilities Management team ensuring our workspaces are safe, welcoming, compliant, and fit for purpose for staff, visitors, and service users.
As part of both the Facilities Management and Property Services teams, you’ll provide essential administrative and financial support while also helping to manage a range of property related tasks.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing financial and administrative support to the Corporate Property team.
• Administering energy payments, monitoring usage and reporting any unusual changes.
• Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in line with Council procurement procedures.
• Ensuring office equipment (such as MFDs, water boilers and coolers) is working correctly and arranging repairs or servicing when needed.
• Overseeing cleaning, stationery and related office contracts to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
• Administering the issue of staff parking permits, bus passes and travel warrants.
You will be working both independently and as part of a team to provide a customer focused, efficient service.
This is a full-time position on a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday on-site, with some hybrid working permitted.

About You:
You will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual with an interest in facilities management and property management.
You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be good at interacting with different people. You will be able to meet exacting deadlines, with excellent attention to detail and be focused on customer service.
Selection Process:
