A supportive and inclusive secondary school in Acton, West London is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated support team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available or a September start, offering an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build experience within special educational needs and inclusive education.

This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy or SEN Teaching.

About the Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the school’s SEND team to support students with a range of additional needs including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Speech and Language needs
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
• Learning difficulties and developmental delays

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping students access lessons, develop communication skills, build confidence, and achieve their academic potential.

The school places strong emphasis on pastoral care, structured support, and positive relationships, ensuring students feel safe, understood, and motivated to learn.
