Location- South Kensington (the team is split into 2 hubs, our other hub being based in North Kensington, St Charles Hospital, so staff are occasionally based on skill mix and service asked to work in the other half)

• On-site shadowing for you with our services during the first two weeks, so that you can get a feel of all the areas and what they do to participate in the well-being of our patients. This includes Psychiatric liaison, etc.

To be an active member of the integrated HTT multidisciplinary team and provide individually tailored care packages for adults of working age, and their families/carers, who have severe and enduring mental illness.

To work in a therapeutic, client-centred way and use a range of evidence-based interventions to help promote recovery through individual or joint working with other professionals.
• We are equipped with latest technology including electronic prescribing to reduce time spent on administration and drug rounds and allow more time for care.

Communication:
1. To be fully conversant with statutory and non-statutory services in the borough, and promote effective liaison, working relationships and operational links as appropriate.
2. To represent the HTT at Borough, Divisional, clinical and other meetings as required.
3. To ensure safe and effective delivery of care to service users utilising the knowledge and skills of staff.

Training:

1. To be available to receive clinical and managerial supervision.
2. To participate in academic meetings and teaching sessions.
3. To facilitate the learning environment for pre and post registration students.

Policy and/or Service Development:
1. To participate in the formulation of policy and the development of the HTT, the rapid response functions of the service and the interface with the Single Point of Access.
2. To ensure that we continue to meet all the requirements for accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists

Management of Resources:
1. To take assist in ensuring adequate staffing resources are available to provide the service.
2. Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff.
3. To assist in ensuring compliance with legal requirements concerning the prescribing, storage, transporting and administration of medicines.
