Summary

Part Time Carer /Support Worker

About me I am a young boy, I have Autism and moderate Learning Difficulties. I live with my family but need a Personal Assistant to assist me in all areas of my social life both at home and in the community

You will need to be aware that I can wander off and touch things and I am unaware of any dangers. I enjoy playing games on my phone or console, I would like someone who I can play with either at home or an arcade. I am verbal so I would make you aware of my likes and dislikes but can be emotional if I am not listened to.
Rate and Hours £14.50 per hour
Weekends and school holidays only – 4 hours per week
Location Hatfield
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children
• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety

What you would be doing… • No personal care, cooking, laundry but should tidy up after an activity
• Someone to take part in playing video games
• Support with taking me out into the community, for activities, socialising etc…
The person I would like… • Experience with children with Autism and Learning Difficulties
• A car driver would be an advantage but not essential
• You must be reliable and able to work flexible hours
• You will work under my parent’s direction
