Summary
This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria. Main Duties Deliver a high standard of nursing care without direct supervision, based on evidence based practice. To demonstrate excellence in ED Nursing skills and to be a source of knowledge for other junior staff. Undertake and document a comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment and triage or the physical and social needs of the patient. Creates and utilises opportunities to promote health and well-being of patients in their care Influence and monitor standards of direct patient care delivery in accordance with best practice and operational protocols and guidelines Leads a paediatric team through the shift Promote good working relationships with the nursing teams, providing appropriate advice and support. To have responsibility for the security and maintenance of equipment belonging to the Emergency Department Facilitate the development of standards of care and assist with the implementation of appropriate monitoring techniques Deputise for the Paediatric Lead Nurse in there absence.
