Summary
Job Title ? = Contract Engineer & Supervisor & Working Charge Hand
Piping & Mechanical
Duties ? = Management of mechanical, piping, fabrication & welding work.
Ensuring materials & equipment & drawings are at the work place.
Work is completed Safely, QC Specs & Drawings.
Permits for Work, Risk Assessment, Method Statements are
completed and adhered to.
Attending Site Safety & Ops/Progress Meetings, liasing with
Clients Managers.
Completing Contract Management Reports and reporting to
Senior Project Manger & Ops Director
Quals ? = SMSTS Card ideally. If not must have OSH or NEBOSH &
SSSTS
HND Engineering or C & G - NVQ 3 Mechanical or HVAC or
Piping
Start Date ? = asap
Term Work ? = 6 - 13 + weeks Contract role subject to work load and
work on other Sites as required Could be longer term role,
Could also be a Perm role
Supervising work such as =
Connecting pipework to panels, valves manifolds working from general & PID engineering drawings fitting screwed, maypress and small bore compression pipework .
Other work installing mechanical systems on machinery & erecting fitting steel work plat forms on food factory site.
Also completing checks & pipework tests,
Working from IPAF Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker
We are acting as an Employment on behalf of our Client. Recruiting Managers, Supervisors, Engineers & Skilled & Semi Skilled Applicants/Workers for their various Sites such as Forest Gate, Park Royal London Sites and other areas.
Further work could be available if prepared to travel and ideally prepared to lodge away with hotel & meal paid for by Company, if required for 3 to 5 nights per week if Sites are not in local areas.
Hours of Work = 0700 to 1700 pos to1900 Mon to Fri & Sat 0700 - 1530 & Sun if required.
Term Work = 4 - 8 weeks plus other phase of work to be confirmed could be a lot longer subject to attendance, performance & work load
Pay = £30 + Mon to Fri & £35 + per hr Sat & £40 per hr Sun
Depending on Role & Quals
Workers Location = Ideally living 10 - 30 miles of main Site location. However may
also consider workers who have to travel further or lodge.
Lodge = Might be able to cover Hotel & Meals paid if living 60 + miles from Site
