Summary
We are looking to recruit a hands-on Gas Plant Maintenance Technician to support landfill gas engines and gas field infrastructure across multiple operational sites. This role focuses on mechanical reliability, preventative maintenance and field-based gas infrastructure repairs. Training will be provided in landfill gas systems, electrofusion welding and site-specific procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform engine oil changes and routine servicing.
• Start and stop gas engines safely in accordance with procedures.
• Undertake gas pipe repairs and electrofusion welding.
• Service and reinstall air pumps and condensate systems.
• Inspect and maintain landfill gas wellheads and pipe infrastructure.
• Support installation of new gas wells and lateral connections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and safety records.
• Travel between landfill sites as required.
Essential Requirements
• Mechanical or industrial maintenance background.
• Experience with engines or pressurised pipe systems.
• Practical fault-finding ability.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
