Kitchen Porter
Location: Edinburgh, EH5 2XS
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 2:30pm
Job Type: Temporary (ongoing)
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to work at a busy corporate food services site in Edinburgh.
This role is ideal for someone reliable and hardworking who enjoys working as part of a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen utensils
Operating dishwashing equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
Assisting chefs and catering staff with basic kitchen support tasks
Ensuring all kitchen areas, floors and surfaces are kept clean and safe
Requirements:
Food Safety Certification
Previous kitchen porter or kitchen cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
Good reliability and timekeeping
Right to Work in the UK
