Summary
We are seeking a dedicated supervisory role to cover our Office, Packing and Production warehouse and join our produce/packing team of seven staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling the BRC, Packhouse paperwork requirements along with getting involved where the requirements are needed.
The role requires a degree of knowledge around use of computers on word, excel, dropbox etc and ideally existing experience working within the Food Industry and the Health & Safety requirements around it. Day to day role will be carrying out check lists, packing/preparing orders for transport collection. Training fully supported.
*Duties
*Working within the Packing crew team, organising daily paperwork, labels, out loading sheets and produce orders for transport collections.
*Managing stock levels through picking, packing, and stocking activities
*Operating packhouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
*Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch of orders & Trays
*Conducting quality control checks on finished products to maintain high standards
*Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety & BRC regulations
Requirements;
*Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in picking & packing, stock management, or shipping & receiving roles
*Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is desirable
*Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes
*Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing and manual handling tasks
