Job Overview
Role: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) / Early Years Educator (Level 3+)
Locations: Barking, Dagenham, and Tottenham
Salary: Competitive (Based on experience and qualification level)
Hours: Flexible options available: 16, 25, or 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent / Long-term
Key Responsibilities
Early Education: Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Person Growth: Act as a key person for a group of children, tracking their development and creating engaging learning journals.
Health & Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, following all safeguarding and child protection policies.
Parent Partnership: Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and carers, providing daily updates on their child’s progress.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with room leaders and the management team to create a magical learning environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent). Unqualified candidates with significant experience may be considered for specific roles.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.
Experience: Previous experience working within a private day nursery or pre-school setting.
Skills: Excellent communication, a "can-do" attitude, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
