Summary
Were looking for a proactive supervisor to help lead our friendly team and support the day-to-day running of our busy farm site. The role includes overseeing staff, maintaining high standards across the shop and outdoor areas, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Seasonal role until November.
We are looking for a reliable and confident supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our shop, small café, outdoor seating area, and children’s play area on our busy farm-based visitor site.
This is an important role within our small team and would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, supporting staff, and ensuring visitors have a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Based on our family farm, the site includes a gift shop, small café, outdoor seating, a farm park with animals, a children’s play area, and Highland cow experiences. This role focuses on supervising the retail and visitor areas, ensuring they remain clean, organised, and well presented throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising staff working within the shop and café
- Ensuring the shop is well presented, stocked, and running smoothly
- Overseeing the café service area and outdoor seating
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all visitor areas
- Ensuring the children’s play area is clean, tidy, and safe for visitors
- Supporting the team and maintaining a positive working environment
- Handling customer queries and ensuring high standards of service
