Summary

We are currently assisting our client, a leading automotive accident repair centre based in Cardiff, in recruiting a skilled Vehicle Panel Beater. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a well-established team within a modern working environment. The Vehicle Panel Beater role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, complemented by a team-based bonus scheme and valuable benefits.

Duties as a Panel Beater:

- Replace and repair damaged automotive body panels to factory standards
- Perform chassis and framework restorations
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine suitable repair methods to ensure high-quality restoration
- Complete bumper, door, and related panel repairs
- Maintain compliance with internal quality standards and third-party assessments
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe workshop operations
- Document work completed and communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater, ideally within a professional accident repair environment
- Formal qualifications to NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent are desirable, though candidates with strong on-the-job experience will be considered
- Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Excellent team player with good communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards will be advantageous but is not essential
