An exciting opportunity has arisen. We are looking for an inspirational and dynamic Class Teacher to join our GOOD School (Ofsted November 2022). You will play an essential part of our school community, supporting our amazing children through their time with us.

The outstanding Practitioner will work 4 days per week in our amazing school as the Year 2 Class Teacher on a maternity contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about KS1, has high expectations for all pupils and wants to be part of a supportive, values-driven school community.

What the role involves in a nutshell:

• Taking full responsibility for a Year 2 class, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Upholding the professional standards for teachers and the Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Promote the school's vision and values.
• Assessing, tracking and reporting pupil progress effectively.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Promoting and modelling the school’s vision and values.
• Securing and maintaining good relationships, contributing to a positive culture, with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors.
