What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a talented Teacher of PE to join our lively, committed and outward looking PE faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely believes in the role that physical activity plays in shaping young people’s futures — not only through performance and competition, but through wellbeing, confidence, resilience‑ and a lifelong enjoyment of being active.
Our PE team is large, experienced and collaborative, and the work we do has a strong, positive impact on students both in and beyond lessons. We deliver a broad, inclusive curriculum that encourages every student to participate, progress and take pride in what they can achieve — whether they are discovering a new activity for the first time or pushing themselves in high performance sport.
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from teachers — experienced or early in their career — who:
• Care deeply about inclusive PE that welcomes every student into their lessons
• Is passionate about providing the core skills to allow students to make an informed choice for lifelong sport and healthy lifestyles
• Can deliver high quality‑ lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE and BTEC)
• Value the balance between participation, enjoyment and performance
• Bring energy, ambition and clarity to their practice
• Want to contribute fully to our extensive extracurricular offer
• Share our belief in shaping greater futures through ambition, resilience, pride, kindness, responsibility and respect
