Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Prince Henry's Grammar School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed teacher of Social Sciences who is keen to motivate students, build their confidence and make learning engaging. This post would be ideal for either an ECT looking to complete their year 1 and/or 2 in a fantastic and supportive school, or indeed a more established teacher.
The ideal candidate(s) will have the ability to offer at least two out of the three areas below but we welcome applications from specialists in any of the below subjects:
• Law or Criminology
• Sociology
• Business Studies (KS4 or KS5)
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to teach KS4 and KS5 Social Sciences
• The ability to enthuse, inspire and motivate students
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Degree or other appropriate qualification in an appropriate Social Sciences subject
• Secondary QTS, or moving towards
• A commitment to Continuing Professional Development
