The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art to contribute to a department known for its success and student engagement.

  • High-Quality Delivery: Commit to securing high standards of learning and teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

  • Photography (Optional): The ability to teach GCSE and A Level Photography is desirable, though not essential.

  • Evidence-Informed Practice: Utilize planning, assessment, intervention, and data tracking to align with the school's performance goals.

  • Explicit Instruction: Ensure outstanding attainment for all through the explicit and deliberate teaching of artistic knowledge and skills.

  • Enrichment: Actively increase student participation and lead extra-curricular activities to foster a love for the arts beyond the classroom.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A professionally qualified teacher with a passion for Art and Design.

  • Reflective Practice: The ability to adapt lessons to suit specific students, ensuring the best possible learning experience for every individual.
