Summary
School Clerk (Level 3)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Term time, 40 Weeks)

The Governing Body of Ffynnon Tâf Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated and committed professional to lead the work of the school office as a part of our dedicated school team. All learners are encouraged to ‘Believe and Achieve Together’ in a caring and inclusive ethos in the community of Taff’s Well. The school currently has 137 pupils on roll with 5 classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial controls, HR processes, pupil administration and other general school office management processes.
The successful applicant will also:
have excellent IT skills, and experience of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel
have the ability to use ICT for word processing, spreadsheets and data management
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and people skills.
have the ability to handle cash for banking, petty cash and administer school accounts
have the ability to use a range of reprographic equipment
have the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
have excellent organisational and administrative skills
have awareness of importance of confidentiality and data protection
have a supportive and professional manner when dealing with families
enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team
enjoy working in a busy and varied environment
be keen to work closely with the Headteacher to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school day for the benefit of pupils, families and staff
