The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Minibus Driver at Park House School. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a role that is both rewarding and impactful.
Typically, you will be required to work the following hours, which may vary from time to time, term time only:
Mornings – 7.00am to 8.30am
Afternoons – 2.30pm to 5.30pm
Safely operate the minibus on designated routes, adhering to speed limits and traffic laws
Ensure passenger safety and comfort, including checking that seat belts are worn and assisting with entry/exit.Represent the school well by parking appropriately, respecting other road users and pedestrians and not obstructing traffic
Perform pre-journey checks (tyres, lights, fuel, oil, water) and report any defects, accidents, or faults immediately.
Report any vehicles defects, faults, incidents and accidents that occur whilst driving.Be responsible for cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out, including removing rubbish and cleaning spills
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel and the students using the service
Maintain and help to promote a good school image, working attire should be worn at all times and kept in a clean and tidy conditionAdhere to all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures
You’ll need:
A clean, valid full UK driving licence - category D1 is essential
Ability to perform basic maintenance and keep records
To be keenly aware of the responsibility of safeguarding children
