We have an exciting opportunity in Accommodation and Commercial Services (ACS) for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and is enthusiastic and self-motivated.

The role of Customer Service Flexible Assistant is a key role in supporting students, staff and visitors. You will need to have a customer focused attitude with the ability to offer advice, support and general information to a wide audience. The role will involve working at the customer services reception desks both at Ranmoor and Endcliffe along with handling telephone and email communication.

ACS recognises the importance of its staff and has several initiatives in place to develop and reward them. The Department has consistently been awarded the Investors in People standard, a national quality framework which helps ACS to improve performance and realise its objectives through effective management and development of staff. Training and Quality are at the heart of the ethos of the Department, for which we employ a dedicated Head of Training and Quality. The Department has a strong focus on customer service and holds nationally recognised Customer First Standard.

The role will involve a flexible working pattern and will be eligible for alternating shift allowance payments. Shift will consist of the following timings: 06.45
- 16.45 and 11.15
- 21.15 to support a 24/7 reception cover.
