We are currently seeking a reliable, professional, and friendly Part-Time Receptionist to join a public sector organisation in Cardiff. This role is vital in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service to visitors, staff, and the wider community.
You will be the first point of contact for all face-to-face and telephone enquiries, providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries

Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed

Provide general administrative support to internal teams

Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings

Handle incoming and outgoing mail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern:

Morning Shift: 08:00 - 13:00

Afternoon Shift: 13:00 - 18:00
Flexibility to cover either shift is essential.
