Summary
Coffee Shop Manager
Are you an organised, energetic, and customer-focused leader with a passion for great service? Southwark College is looking for a talented Coffee Shop Manager to take ownership of our day‑to‑day operations, drive commercial success, and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer.
As our Coffee Shop Manager, you'll be the driving force behind an efficient, well‑run and welcoming service to our staff and students. You'll oversee stock management, ordering, supplier relationships, staff coordination, and event support while ensuring we maintain high standards in food safety, customer service and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - from managing daily stock and cashing up, to delivering events and ensuring the shop is spotless and functioning at its best.
In addition to leading the service, there is an element of food preparation and production expected as part of the role. This includes creating a daily hot dish, supporting general kitchen operations, and ensuring all food is produced safely and to a high standard. Strong kitchen skills and confidence in basic food production are essential.
This is a fixed term opportunity until 17 July 2026
Interviews will be held on 24th March 2026.
