Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused and engaged with the work provided. Your role will include:
- Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans set by teaching staff
- Maintaining a calm, productive learning atmosphere
- Offering support to students throughout the lesson where appropriate
- Adhering to all school policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working with young people (youth/ community work, sports coaching or social care).*Strong communication and behaviour management skills
*Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
*Ability to remain calm, organised, and proactive in a busy school setting
