Do you have experience supporting young children and want term‑time, sociable hours?We are recruiting Teaching Assistants with Early Years backgrounds who want to transition into primary schools, infant schools and special schools. If you're passionate about helping children learn, develop and thrive, this could be the perfect next step for you.⭐ Why This Role Is Perfect for Early Years PractitionersIf you have experience in nurseries, preschools, private childcare or Early Years settings (EYFS), your skills are highly valued in schools. The roles offer:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm - sociable, family‑friendly hours
  • £16-£18 per hour, depending on experience
  • Term‑time working
  • Opportunities to progress into SEN support, HLTA roles or teacher training
  • Full‑time, long‑term positions available

What You'll Be DoingAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assist with learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Help children develop communication, confidence and independence
  • Support classroom routines, behaviour and daily activities
  • Work with children who may have additional or special educational needs
  • Create a positive, nurturing learning environment

What We're Looking ForWe welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Early Years experience (nursery practitioner, preschool assistant, early childhood educator, EYFS support etc.)
  • Strong child development knowledge
  • A calm, caring and patient approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A desire to work in schools and support young learners
