Summary
Leighton Rose Care Home are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties
Assess and monitor residents' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, utilising critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
Experience
A valid nursing qualification with current registration as a Registered Nurse.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in resident care.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to medication administration.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
A caring attitude towards patients, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
