**PERMENANT ROLE** The Best Connection are recruiting for a Production Manager to work at our Redditch based client, who are a market leader in Heating/Cooling Manufacture and Design.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management
- Experience managing teams within a production or assembly environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning and operational processes.
Desirable
- Experience in HVAC, electrical appliances, or mechanical product manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience with ERP/MRP production systems
- Work closely to KPI's
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Plan, organise, and manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure efficient use of labour, equipment and materials.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet demand.
- Oversee fabrication, assembly and manufacturing processes for portable heating and cooling units.
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the production floor.
- Conduct regular safety reviews and risk assessments.
Production Planning and Efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement, technical and sales teams to ensure production aligns with demand forecasts.
- Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, scrap rates, and output levels.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions and productivity gains.
Equipment Maintainance
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime.

Shifts and Salary
- Mon - Thurs 08.00 to 17.00 / Fri 08.00-14.00
- 40k per Annum
