Summary
A well‑established and community‑focused secondary school in Leytonstone is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join their team from March 2026 through to the end of the school year.

You will be responsible for delivering pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a calm and productive classroom atmosphere, and ensuring students remain on task in the absence of the class teacher.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising lessons across different subjects and year groups
- Following set lesson plans and instructions effectively
- Managing behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Supporting students with tasks and encouraging positive engagement
- Adapting confidently to different classrooms and teaching needs
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Experience working with young people (school‑based experience desirable)
- The ability to follow instructions and use initiative
- A calm, professional, and adaptable manner
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
