TeacherActive is proud to be working with an absolutely fantastic private day nursery Tunbridge Wells. This setting works hard to ensure good quality care and many learning opportunities for the children within the nursery. They currently support children across the full age range, baby (four months) through to pre-school. Staff at the nursery ensure the children feel safe and secure, whilst being attentive to their needs. The setting helps children to develop a love of books and reading, supporting them with their communication and language development, including Spanish and other languages as well as supporting their independence.
This nursery is looking for qualified and unqualified early years practitioners as bank staff - to cover full-day, half-day or lunch cover (four hours) on a regular and long-term basis, this opportunity can lead to a permanent role for the right nursery practitioner. The successful Early Years Practitioner will have previous experience working within an early years setting, aswell as a good knowledge of how young children learn and develop. You will work with the team to give children new opportunities to learn and develop whilst supporting their growth. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be work across any of the rooms, from baby, toddler to pre-school you will be expected to be flexible to the needs of the nursery, support children during free-play and at mealtimes.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:
• Unqualified, Level 2 or Level 3 staff are welcome to apply
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting
• A positive and caring approach to supporting children learn and develop
