Summary

Oxy Propane Burner

Port Talbot | up to £22 per hour DOE | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for experienced Oxy Burners to join a well-known Demolition Contractor in Port Talbot. This is a fantastic long-term contract opportunity offering stability, excellent working conditions, and the chance to work with a respected name in the industry.

The Role

Burner needed to start at TATA Steel. Must hold Oxy-Propane Ticket to use gun, have previous experience working as a demolition burner and be able to provide excellent references.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience cutting scrap metal - certificate for oxy propane burning required

  • CCDO qualification desirable (or willingness to obtain).

  • Previous experience working in a scrap or recycling environment.
  • Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work.

  • Full UK driving licence required.

  • CSCS card required (or ability to obtain one).

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday.

  • 50 hours per week.

  • Overtime may be required.
