Summary

Room Leader – Baby Room – Up to £32,500

What You’ll Need

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding practices
• Confidence organising routines and supporting a small team

Desirable

• Previous experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner
Paediatric First Aid training
• Experience working specifically with babies or under 2s

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily organisation of the baby room and support consistent routines
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework
• Observe and record babies’ development and learning progress
• Maintain safeguarding, health, and safety standards within the room
• Support and guide practitioners working in the baby room
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
