Kids Planet Training Academy is offering a unique route into training as an Apprentice Tutor/Assessor, no assessing qualification needed. We’ll train you, support you, and help you achieve the Level 3 Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship.
It’s the perfect next step if you want to move from hands‑on practice into shaping and supporting the next generation of Early Years professionals.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Support and assess Early Years apprentices in nursery settings, including workplace observations and evidence gathering.
• Deliver engaging training through online sessions, face‑to‑face teaching, group workshops and 1:1 tutorials.
• Plan and complete initial assessments, progress reviews and individual development plans.
• Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment and deliver Functional Skills where needed.
• Work closely with nursery managers and mentors to maximise learner progress.
• Manage your diary effectively to ensure timely visits, reviews and training delivery.
• Maintain accurate learner records while providing ongoing motivation, guidance and support.

The ideal applicant will possess:
• A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years
• Experience at Senior Practitioner or Room Leader level
• Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues in a nursery environment
• A willingness to work towards the Level 3 Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship (fully supported by us)
• Excellent communication and ICT skills
• Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
• A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
