Summary
Endoscopy Lower GI team. Band 6 CNS based at Leeds General Infirmary and SJH endoscopy departments. Working hours will be 8-6 Monday to Friday. Working closely with other CNSs and Clinical nurse endoscopists to receive referrals from primary care and triage for appropriateness. With a responsibility for assessing clinical information and communicating directly with patients and colleagues from primary care and across the MDT. The post holder will make referrals for endoscopy and other diagnostic investigations such as CT, capsule endoscopy or refer to clinic for outpatients apt. Offering advice and support directly to patients and endoscopy pre assessment team. Managing a high volume of daily referrals and working within Standard operating procedures to ensure safe and effective patient centred care. Applicants should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to manage IT systems with LTHT.
