Since 2008, Horizon Teachers has grown organically year-on-year, building a reputation for delivering high-quality educators to schools across London and the South East. Now part of Operam Education Group, one of the fastest-growing education recruitment groups in the UK, we have the backing, resources, and ambition to scale even further.

This is a true 360 recruitment role, giving you ownership of your own desk and the opportunity to build a strong network of schools and education professionals. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, placing teachers and support staff into permanent, long-term, short-term, and daily roles, while developing lasting client relationships and growing your desk revenue.

The impact of your work goes beyond billings. Every placement helps ensure classrooms are staffed, schools run smoothly, and pupils receive the consistent education they deserve.

Whether your background is in education or a transferable sector, your recruitment expertise will drive your area and help expand our offering across the region while contributing to the growth of the wider group.

Responsibility of Role:

Running and growing your own high-performing Education recruitment desk across either Primary, Secondary, or SEND
Winning new business and building strong, lasting relationships with schools and clients, while developing existing partnerships
Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality education professionals into temporary roles
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate attraction through to placement and ongoing client support
Driving revenue growth by successfully matching schools with the talent they need
Taking ownership of your targets and consistently achieving and exceeding KPIs
Working closely with our Key Accounts and Partnerships team to maximise opportunities across your territory
Contributing to a driven, ambitious team culture and leading by example

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in Education or a similar sector, with a track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth
A true hunter mentality you thrive on building and managing your own desk, winning business, and making placements that make a real impact
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence clients, candidates, and colleagues at all levels
Ambition, drive, and ownership you set high standards for yourself and consistently push to achieve and exceed your goals
A passion for education and making a tangible difference in schools and communities through the talent you place
Ideally you will have a full driving license and access to your own car to be able to visit clients in your region. If you are learning, or do not drive please let us know on your application as we will be able to discuss alternatives if you are shortlisted.

We look forward to receiving your application, our Talent Team will be here to give you more information.
