At The Education Specialists, part of Operam Education Group, we are entering an exciting phase of growth. As one of the fastest-growing education recruitment groups in the UK, we are backed by significant investment which will support our ambitious expansion plans across our education service lines and territories.

We are looking for a Senior Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our Northwest branch. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced education recruitment manager who is ready to step into a role with greater influence, autonomy, and long-term career progression with a focus on impact and purpose.

You will combine billing leadership with strategic responsibility, driving the performance of your own desk while leading and developing a high-performing team. With the backing of a growing group, you will have the resources, investment, and leadership support needed to expand the branch, develop new markets, and build a team capable of delivering sustained growth.

This is more than a management role. It’s an opportunity to build something meaningful, influence the direction of a growing business, and take your leadership career to the next level within a well-backed recruitment group.

Responsibility of the role:

This is more than a billing manager role; it’s an opportunity to influence strategy, lead a growing team, and play a key role in the future of the business.

You will:

Lead and inspire a high-performing education recruitment team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and success.
Run and grow your own billing desk, setting the commercial benchmark for the branch.
Build and develop a pipeline of top internal recruitment talent, ensuring your team has the capacity and capability to grow.
Drive territory growth strategy, identifying new opportunities across Primary, Secondary, SAFS, and SEND markets.
Partner with the Operam Education Group leadership and Value Creation teams to influence wider business strategy and growth initiatives.
Mentor and develop consultants, supporting career progression and high performance across the team.
Build strong, trusted relationships with schools and MATs, helping them secure exceptional educators and strengthen their educational outcomes

What you’ll bring:

We are looking for a proven education recruitment leader who is ready for the next stage in their career.

Strong experience in Education recruitment
A successful track record in team leadership and management
Proven success in billing and developing profitable desks
A strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive market expansion
The ability to inspire, mentor and develop consultants to achieve their potential
Ambition to play a bigger role within a growing recruitment group

If you’re currently leading within education recruitment and looking for an opportunity to step into a role with greater influence, growth potential, and leadership impact, we’d love to speak with you.
