Are you passionate about helping people live better lives? Do you want to work for a charity where your wellbeing matters as much as the people you support? Would you like to be part of a trauma-informed organisation that encourages creative and flexible ways of working?

At LinkLiving, our people and values are at the heart of everything we do. We look for staff who share our core values:

Empathy – listening to and understanding individual needs and circumstances

Respect – treating others the way they wish to be treated

Integrity – being honest and acting with strong moral principles

LinkLiving is a Scottish health and wellbeing charity supporting people to overcome the effects of difficult life experiences, including trauma, mental health challenges, poverty and inequality. Our services include personal development and employability programmes, self-help coaching, supported accommodation, care at home, housing support, befriending and social cafés.

The Service

LinkLiving Skills Academy provides high-quality training and learning opportunities for professionals across the sector. We are also a Qualifications Scotland accredited training centre with over 10 years’ experience delivering qualifications.

This role will deliver accredited leadership programmes, trauma-informed training and personal development workshops to frontline professionals across Link Group, partner organisations and external agencies. The role requires travel across local authority areas and may occasionally involve overnight stays.

About You

You are educated to diploma level (or equivalent) and have a training qualification or substantial experience designing and delivering training programmes. You are a Qualifications Scotland Assessor/Verifier, or willing to work towards this.

You understand issues affecting people who are excluded or marginalised and have knowledge of the NES Trauma Informed Framework. You are committed to person-centred practice and skilled at building supportive and positive relationships.

You are an effective communicator who can adapt your approach to different audiences and situations. You can work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute positively within a team.

You are confident using technology for communication, data recording and reporting, and have experience working in partnership with external organisations. You hold a current driving licence and have access to a roadworthy vehicle, with flexibility to travel across Scotland.
