Your new role
Working Monday-Friday during term time, a typical school administration job will involve:
- Being the first point of call for any staff, pupils and visitors to school, whether that be in person, over the phone or via email/ letter correspondence
- Handling incoming calls in a professional manner
- Making outgoing calls
- Diary management
- Using the school system (usually SIMS or Arbor) to manage high volumes of student data
- Input register information
- Collate dinner numbers
- Handling petty cash
- Dealing with post and email queries
- Maintaining the school website
Hours can vary between 8-4.30 depending on school needs and the size of the team they have.
