Rompa are the market leaders in sensory provision and due to increasing workload we are looking to hire a full time Installation Engineer to join our team in the fitting of specialist, sensory rooms.
What will be required?
• Providing an installation service of sensory and soft play equipment into customers’ premises, ensuring the highest quality, safety and workmanship at all times.
• Providing any joinery needs.
• Carrying out site surveys and risk assessments prior to the installation.
• Carrying out service calls and maintenance on our equipment, diagnosing and repairing any faults.
Do you have what it takes and what qualifications are needed?
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card would be advantageous
• Current and clean driving licence
• Ability to use a wide range of tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and a ‘can do’ positive attitude
• Strong verbal communication skills and possess a tactful, polite and friendly approach
Other Information
• Candidates must have willingness to work away from home during the week; some weeks you could be away all week.
• An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate – we also pay an overnight allowance.
• We pay for any evening meals and lunches whilst staying away.
• The hotels we use are a high standard and are as close as possible to the installation site.
• Due to the work environment of this role, the successful candidate will have their background checked with the DBS to ensure suitability.
