Our client is seeking a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to assist with deliveries over three scheduled working days in Evesham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for local and regional deliveries.
- Deliver agricultural chemicals, pesticides, and farming supplies to farms and agricultural businesses.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, which may involve occasional heavy lifting.
- Ensure all products are transported, stored, and handled in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Follow company compliance procedures, including safe handling of agricultural chemicals.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and farm staff.
- Adhere to all road transport regulations, driver hours rules, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid and clean 7.5 tonne driving licence (Category C1).
- Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
- Physically capable of light to moderate manual handling and occasional heavy lifting.
- Ability to follow health, safety, and compliance procedures, particularly when handling agricultural chemicals.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
