The foundation provision provides learners with extra support to get them ready for our level one courses at our sports campus and provides a fantastic supportive learning environment. Many of our learners progress to level 3, giving them excellent knowledge and skills to follow their passion for sports related work. This role works closely with colleagues both within Foundation and our sports team ensuring that learners benefit from great communication, and the best possible transition experience.Our Foundation students are an important and welcomed part of the community here at CWA. The Foundation team are passionate about their learners and ensure that they have access to the best opportunities. We offer work experience with relevant employers to give them hands on experience to help them to enter further supported work, voluntary work or study. Many of our learners go on to study mainstream courses at up to level 3.We pride ourselves on our approach to the work life balance of our team and actively support job share and flexible working opportunities. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England.
