Description:

Our Heywood-based client is seeking an experienced Manual / Vertical Borer Operator with hands-on experience. The role involves machining large and complex components to precise engineering specifications, including one-off parts and full production runs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Boring Machines
• Machine large/heavy components to specification
• Work from engineering drawings
• Undertake one-off jobs and production runs
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience on manual / vertical boring machines
• Experience with large component machining
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors preferred
