HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Delivery Driver - Darlington
The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit an HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Delivery Driver to work with our well-established client based in Darlington. This is a great opportunity for a reliable HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution centre delivering to a loyal customer base across the local area. Our client is a leading national supplier to Fish and Chip Shops, Fast Food outlets, and the wider foodservice industry, and as an HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Delivery Driver you will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
The Role:
· Multi-drop HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Delivery Driver role delivering frozen produce across a dedicated route
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with an established customer base
· Ensuring your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
· Completing all delivery paperwork in line with company procedures
· Ensuring compliance with EU Drivers' Hours and transport legislation
· Providing professional and friendly service to customers during deliveries
The Candidate:
· Valid and in-date Cat C (Class 2) driving licence
· CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
· Multi-drop experience would be advantageous but is not essential
· Physically fit due to the nature of the role, including heavy lifting
· Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
· Excellent customer service skills
Hours of Work:
· Monday to Friday
· 06:30am start time
Pay Rates (PAYE):
· £13.11 per hour
