Our 26-year-old son has a diagnosis of Autism and learning disability. He has limited speech but is engaging we need a support worker to take him out in the local area and keep him safe as he has little awareness of the road or other dangers. He does not need any personal care as manages himself you would just need you to show him the toilets when he asks and wait for him. He loves dancing, attending any groups for this and is very interested in visiting old buildings on days out. He loves gardening and Shakespeare plays and any theatre performances.

About Disability Confident

It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations such as high-volume, seasonal and high-peak times, the employer may wish to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered to both disabled people and non-disabled people.
