Summary

Provide a service of the highest quality, which includes assessing and providing care to patients referred from Accident and Emergency Department, patients directly referred from the General Practitioner and patients who are current inpatients under the care of other specialities. 2. Work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of the general surgery service and assist consultants and other senior staff in their clinical duties when required. 3. Contribute to the development of the surgical services to support the trust in ensuring provision of high quality care outpatient and inpatient care.
