About the Role
We are a well-established exhibition and events contractor specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke exhibition stands, display environments, and event structures for clients across the UK and internationally.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Exhibition Carpenter to join our workshop and installation team.
Role Overview
This role involves manufacturing and assembling high-quality bespoke exhibition stands and display structures both in the workshop and on-site at exhibition venues. The successful candidate will be part of a skilled team delivering projects to tight deadlines and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture bespoke exhibition stands, display units, and structural components from technical drawings.
* Carry out bench joinery and carpentry work within the workshop.
* Assemble and install exhibition stands at venues across the UK.
* Work with materials such as timber, MDF, laminates, and composite boards.
* Ensure all builds meet quality standards and project deadlines.
* Work closely with project managers, designers, and other trades during builds and installations.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
* Assist with stand breakdown, packing, and transportation after exhibitions.
Requirements
* Proven experience in carpentry, bench joinery, shopfitting, or exhibition stand building.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
* Experience working with bespoke joinery or exhibition builds is highly desirable.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel for stand installations when required.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
