Summary

Labcorp is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Eye in Suffolk.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours)


Job Responsibilities:

Assisting Maintenance Engineering team with maintenance and repair of site plant and engineering systems.
Working individually on maintenance tasks as assigned by Facilities Manager
Undertaking daily plant checks including: steam boiler checks, L8 water compliance, AHU, chillers, AC units, sewage treatment plant etc.
Undertaking building fabric repairs: door alignment, drainage repairs, minor decoration etc.
Carrying out PPMs.
Liaising with and escort contractors.
Forklift and tractor driving.
Operation of MEWP.
Updating IT based PPM systems
Communicating daily with Facilities Manager and maintenance team
Reporting all plant failures


Minimum Qualifications:

3 or more GCSE’s, to include English, Mathematics and Science


Additional Job Standards:

Experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or construction trades.
Alternatively ‘handyman’ experience and general exposure to construction and engineering environment will be considered
Valid UK drivers licence
Weekend overtime available
