Senior Home Manager – Learning Disabilities & Autism Services

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Home Manager / Operations Manager to lead and oversee a group of specialist learning disabilities services based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

This senior leadership role will be responsible for the operational management of three residential care homes and one supported living service, all supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, strong regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for the people we support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Registered Manager looking to take on a multi-site leadership role within learning disability services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across 3 residential care homes and 1 supported living service
Line manage and support 4 Service Managers / Registered Managers
Ensure services maintain high CQC standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance
Promote person-centred care and positive outcomes for people with learning disabilities and autism
Support services managing complex needs and behaviours that challenge
Implement and promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches across services
Monitor performance, quality, and service improvement
Work closely with families, professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders
Report directly to the Directors on operational performance and service development

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Essential / Desirable Experience

Previous experience as a Regional Manager, Operations Manager, Area Manager, or Senior Manager in Health and Social Care
Strong background in learning disabilities services, autism support, or specialist residential care
Experience managing multiple services or multi-site operations
Knowledge and experience of challenging behaviour and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience supporting and developing Registered Managers / Service Managers
Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
