Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse within the Older Person's Same day Emergency clinic (SDEC), providing rapid assessment of acutely unwell patients.
We are looking for a high calibre individual with good interpersonal and communication skills. You will be motivated to develop professionally in a supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have staff nurse experience in an acute hospital and will be looking for a challenging and fast moving post that emergency medicine provides.
Applicants need to be a Registered Nurse , ideally with post registration experience in an acute setting with OPS experience. This post is subject to a 6 month Probationary Period, but will be renewed according to performance review.
The successful candidate will be required to cover shift patterns which include week day and some bank holiday and weekend working. This is and essential part of the role.

This is a permanent position that will be based initially on the Poole site but will transfer to RBH when services physically merge - currently planned for mid July 2026.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
