Summary
Position: Store Person
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £13.33 per hour
Type of work: contract
Working hours: 37 hours per week 7:00 am to 16:30 Monday to Friday
We are now seeking to recruit a Store Person to work for an engineering company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate store person will be contributing to the transition of inventory into new Stores warehouse equipment, ensuring correct transactions and processes are carried out in the storage of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Replenishment of stock
• Picking and packing
• Completing stock checks
• Maintain accurate stock records within the ERP system.
• Follow stock location procedures.
• Seeking opportunities for continuous improvements with the stores area
Experience:
• Knowledge and confidence using IT systems/software is essential to the role
• Experience of working in a store’s environment (12 months min is desirable)
• Working knowledge of stock control systems
• Computer literate and able to use ERP systems
• Experience of working in aerospace/manufacturing environment (desirable) Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with computerised warehouse management systems
• Must be able to pass DBS and drug and alcohol test.
