Summary
Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
A little about myself:
I am a young adult boy living in Swansea I have Global development delay and speech and learning difficulties. I am looking for an active PA who I can go out and feel safe with. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities including going to the gym, playing football, riding bikes, cinema and visiting the beach. I would like a PA to accompany me to do this as I have no sense of danger. I would also like to be able to see my girlfriend so be able to meet her for coffee and go to the cinema or McDonalds.
Driver required to take me out.
Hours of work
11 hours per week. (Fridays and Sundays)

Essential:
I need you to:
• Have a car and be able to drive.
• Be active.
Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You had previous experience.
• You enjoy sports.
I’d like support with

• Going out in the community
• Having fun
I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
