Reporting directly to the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Deputy Registrar. You will be responsible for 4 direct reports.

You will attend tribunal hearings representing the Registrar of Approved Driving Instructors. The role holder will be responsible for managing and compiling statements for all the incoming appeals made against the Registrar’s decisions ensuring all documentation required for the appeal are produced in line with the tribunal guidelines and within service levels. The role requires close working with the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar and Fit and Proper team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the ADI regulatory regime and associated appeals.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

Tribunal hearings

Drafting statements of responses ensuring they are clearly written and meet appropriate deadlines.

Attending tribunal hearings representing the Registrar.

Ensuring case management directions are responded to effectively and within tribunal deadlines.

Leadership

Leading the ADI administration team, overseeing applications and maintaining the ADI register.Delivering training and support as needed whilst ensuring compliance and high-quality service across the teamStakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication, support customer needs, monitor external factors and legal requirements, and ensure accurate, compliant processes.For further information on the role, please read the role profile.
